Marija Felkel is an HR expert with over 25 years of international experience in high-tech innovative industries. She is one of the authorities in the field of human resources, with excellent knowledge of global trends. She is experienced in business tasks and projects at the corporate board level and serves as a strategic partner for HR in business operations. Throughout her long career in international companies such as Siemens and HT, she has paid special attention to the identification and development of corporate and local talents, creating successful partnerships between business operations and the HR function, and managing organizational cultures that provide the best employee experience. She has applied the experience gained from working in international companies in Croatia by engaging in the development and implementation of best practices in organizational development and human resources for various local manufacturing companies. Currently, as an employee of Nomad Foods, she is part of the Cluster Leadership for the Adriatic Region and is actively engaged in the implementation of best HR practices and the transformation of Ledo and Frikom companies in 8 countries in the region.
She is extremely active in promoting STEM fields and working with young people, collaborating with universities, high schools, and elementary schools, emphasizing the importance of education and continuous development. She is a strong advocate for women’s equality in the business world and equal representation in management positions and is a great promoter of humility and modesty in leadership. She is an active member of local HR associations, a lecturer at HR academies and conferences, and a participant in round tables on organizational development and human resources. She is the recipient of the Prometej Award – HR Manager of the Year for 2016, the highest professional recognition in Croatia.
