Ivan Papič is a seasoned Human Resources and IT leader with over two decades of experience across industries including IT, telecommunications, metallurgy, glass manufacturing, and railway. He combines HR leadership with deep expertise in SAP systems, IT/OT platforms, and their integration with HR processes.
His career began in SAP consulting and advanced to executive roles such as Director of HR & Legal Affairs at Iskratel, HR Director at SIJ Slovenian Steel Group, and Director of HR and General Affairs at Steklarna Hrastnik, where he oversaw HR, automation, and general affairs across global operations. At Slovenia’s national railway company (Slovenske Željeznice), he led Legal Affairs and HR functions, driving organizational culture initiatives, trade union negotiations, and employer branding.
Currently serving as SAP Delivery Manager at Avtenta d.o.o., Ivan leads SAP delivery management and client strategy. His international experience spans projects in Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Macedonia, and the Czech Republic, including SAP localization and euro conversion initiatives.
