Prof. Meri Tadinac, PhD, is a Full Professor with Tenure and Head of the Chair of Biological Psychology at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb.

She teaches several undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate courses at her home faculty as well as at other faculties. Her areas of expertise include biological, evolutionary, and health psychology, as well as clinical neuropsychology. Throughout her career, she has led several scientific research projects and is an active member of the international network of researchers in evolutionary psychology. She has published over 90 scientific and professional papers, textbooks, and books that are highly regarded and widely cited, and she has actively participated in more than 110 scientific and professional conferences in Croatia and abroad, delivering 19 plenary or invited lectures.

Prof. Tadinac has contributed significantly to the popularization of psychology by translating key textbooks, relevant scholarly works, and popular science literature in the field. Notably, she has played a leading role in the translation and adaptation of a large number of psychodiagnostic instruments. She is a member of various scientific and professional associations and has received numerous public awards, including the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Lifetime Achievement Award (2024).
