What does burnout mean and how does it differ among different generations?

Although companies are increasingly aware of the importance of mental health, the question arises, have we begun to trivialize mental health issues and create a space for exploitation and new excuses? Burnouts, mental health and its impairment are hot topics in HR, and this panel discussion will try to answer these questions, highlight different perspectives, and show by example how companies can effectively support the mental health of their employees, while simultaneously facing the problems of exploitation or misuse. Are we all really facing burnout? Famous clinical psychologist Nataša Jokić-Begić will take you on a journey through generational differences in the way we take care of ourselves. In a very interesting lecture, we will find out what the focus of earlier generations was, and what is important to today’s, that is, younger generations. We will certainly touch on what influenced this and how it reflects on daily functioning and the attitude towards the ‘tolerance’ of one’s own emotions.
